Conscious self-care

ATTENTION FIRST

Considering that we spend our entire lives using it to think, humans are very adept at ignoring our minds when they convey clear messages that all is not well at the high end of the human operating system.

A GP once told me that long before stress-related illnesses start in the body, the mind will send out a clear and unequivocal message that things cannot remain as they are. I was surprised to hear a GP say something that I would have considered a bit of an alternative, a bit out there in the way the sun is kinda out there, and realize that after 27 years in his profession, he believed firmly that this to be true.

This made it clear to me that taking care of my thoughts and how they manifested was an important step in regaining control of my life and protecting my physical body. At the time, I was mostly concerned with my thoughts and the way they were transferring into my body as anxiety and fear, I hadn’t thought about how they could be putting stress on the body.

Today we are much more aware of the effects of mental stress on the emotions and the body and yet too many people continue to struggle in their daily lives instead of saying ‘stop … what is going on here and how can I change it? ? ‘

EVERYONE FIGHTING DON’T THEY

Have you fallen in love with this myth? The idea that life should be a struggle, only 1% of our societies ever achieve their dreams, and the rest of us should do the best we can with the limited amount of good luck that life offers us?

This is the worst kind of thinking possible, completely unnecessary, fundamentally false, and represents an early grave for your dreams. Don’t get involved in it. You don’t have to believe what others believe, and it’s incredibly important that you don’t. Let him completely separate himself from the beliefs of others and start living life on his own, on his own terms.

Scientists are showing time and again that our thoughts have a great impact on our actions and results, including our physical health. The link between thoughts, beliefs, and illness is fairly conclusively proven, and the power of the human mind is respected like never before. We are not the victims of the past, we have the mental processing power to be the creators of the future.

AS?

Very good question. Let’s start with what you may not know about yourself. For example, do you know that your subconscious mind represents more than 95% of your mind? It actually represents more than 95% of you, because your subconscious mind is your body.

Your mind trains your body in physical reactions like fear, anxiety, anger, programming receptors around the edge of your cells with those automatic reactions. When I first read this it didn’t seem feasible, however about 30 minutes later I had an anxiety reaction and felt very clearly that it was traveling from stomach to head, it did not originate in my mind. My body told my mind what to think about. The more the body tells the mind what to think, the more neurons are created for that thought, until anxiety takes over the mind.

That was quite revealing. The way you create happier, more positive, and proactive thoughts is to get those reactions out of your cells and replace them with healthier ones. It is surprisingly easy if you are willing to participate in some science-based meditation and read a book.

How to “break the habit of being yourself”

I am referring to a book by Dr. Joe Dispenza, an American author and scientist who has conducted more than 20 years of research on this phenomenon. Their courses are often attended by neurologists and neuroscientists, who study the results using scanners so that they can literally see the changes that are taking place.

I had undiagnosed acute anxiety for over 22 years, and it took me another 10 years to control it. By that I mean that I was aware that my anxiety was a disease, I took steps to control it, which often meant speaking harshly, and it had become manageable.

Then I went to a conference in London in 2019 called The Conference for Consciousness and Human Evolution, which taught me several more things that I didn’t know about myself and completely changed my knowledge of who and what I was as a human; as well as my abilities.

Remember these were trained scientists who spoke that day, one from as far away as Russia. Scientists who presented us with research, who have risked their reputations in many books that, although under the title of self-help, go much further. Those reputations are still intact and they are still researching and learning more.

It was in that course that I bought the book “Breaking the habit of being yourself” and also the meditation game on double CD ROM. A month later, without always having followed the program correctly, I was able to describe my anxiety as “normal.”

By this I mean that when there is a reason to be anxious, like everyone else, I feel anxious. To put that in perspective, I had to pull out a tooth last summer. I was sick of losing another tooth, a little worried before the extraction, and my stomach was a little tight when I woke up that morning. However, my most important feeling was “thank goodness, today I will be glad to finish.”

He hadn’t gone through the usual process of visualizing everything that could go wrong and more. I accepted that they were going to remove a tooth and it would be just that. He had warned me that the tooth might break off, to which I didn’t reply “Oh sir, you’re going to need to dig it out with a road drill!” or similar. I just said “but you can deal with it, won’t you, this is not your first extraction?” He said yes, I quit.

I came out of that radiant ear-to-ear dental surgery. I hadn’t tensed in the chair, as I had told my husband, “It’s your problem, not mine, you have to deal with this to my satisfaction,” and I let it carry on. I literally sat there and waited until they took it from me, then I went home.

That was a huge change for me, like a huge Grand Canyon Plus!

CAREFUL PERSONAL CARE

Going back to the original point that all self-care must start with the mind, the best way to create a new mind, because that is what you would be doing, is through meditation, but not just any old meditation. One that shows you how to reprogram that mind and takes you through a process from relaxing, recognizing old patterns, eradicating them, retraining your mind for better thoughts, and then teaching you how to envision a better and healthier future.

My personal recommendation is that you look at the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza, and also Bruce Lipton and Gregg Braden. Lynne McTaggert is another author to consider. Start there and, as you know, you will find your way to other people to help you.

WHAT ABOUT PHYSICAL HEALTH?

Knowledge of how to care for the human body is abundant, but have you ever found out that you know what to do but just don’t? That is because your cellular programming is interfering with your conscious desires.

Starting with changing your mind, it will be much easier for you to do the right thing for your body. Anyone who has lost weight on a forbidden diet, gained all the weight back and more, faster than they lost it, will find that something is interfering with their genuine desire to lose weight. Reprogram that mind to in turn reprogram those cells, and you will find yourself wondering why the food you eat was ever a problem.

If it works for you like it did for me, and remember that I am undisciplined and often missed two or three days of the program and had to pick it up, you will find that the bad thoughts are gone.

THE KEY FACTORS OF SUCCESS

  1. You really want to do this.

  2. Do your research until you are sure it feels right, that way you won’t be questioning every step of the way and undoing your own success.

  3. You think you can do this.

If you can do those three things, there is no reason why you shouldn’t feel much better in three months.
