Make Dough Writing Online – Having your own blog brings great rewards

There are many ways to gain mass writing online, and one of the best and most rewarding is to blog. While writing for others can also bring you profit, there is no greater satisfaction than having your own real estate on the internet that generates traffic and earns you income.

Blogs are quickly becoming the next best way to exchange information and interact with others in your business or field of interest. They have become so popular that many secondary sites have sprung up on the Internet to index, review, and link to the millions of blogs out there.

There are many reasons why you might want to have your own blog; One of the most popular reasons these days to have a blog is to earn extra income. Most of us have heard the stories of entrepreneurs making six-figure incomes simply from blogging every day, and we wonder if we can make that kind of money too. Such stories are rare exceptions and are based on people who have been working on it for a long time.

This does not mean that you cannot make money from your blog, you certainly can, but it will require a lot of time, effort and dedication on your part. It’s also a good idea not to rely on just one blog for your income, you should also consider having other websites or being listed on multiple streams of income.

Patience is required to generate income from your blog; Many website owners have given up in frustration after just three to six months, not realizing that slow growth is normal and nothing to worry about. In fact, most search engines frown if your traffic grows too fast because it often tells them that the blog has done something covertly to gain that traffic.

To set up your blog you will first need a domain and a web hosting account, you can get free blogging accounts but if traffic and revenue are your goal you will be much better off with your own domain. You will need a blogging platform, I highly recommend Word Press, it’s free and the number one blogging script available.

Be sure to do your research on the best way to set up your blog and get it noticed, there are hundreds of sites that will teach you how. Be prepared to post every day, letting your blog sit for days at a time with no posts won’t get noticed and is one of the worst things you can do as a new blogger. People will subscribe to your blog in newsreaders and unsubscribe just as quickly if they don’t find new content day after day.

Affiliate advertising, such as Google Ad Sense, will provide most of your income, and as your blog becomes more popular, you will receive offers from companies that want to pay you to sponsor them. As you become more knowledgeable about your subject, you can consider writing eBooks as another source of income.

Blogging is a long-term project that requires effort, dedication, and patience, but being successful brings not only a decent income, but also a sense of accomplishment in something you created.
