Can You Melt Belly Fat By Drinking Cranberry Juice?

There was a women’s magazine at the supermarket checkout that featured “The Juice That Melts Belly Fat!” The article talks about drinking two glasses a day, to lose 9 pounds and 3 inches in a week! It’s cranberry juice.

There are two universities that have experimented with cranberry juice on rats. The first investigator is Pierre S. Haddad, Ph. D. He did his research on rats at the University of Montreal. He allegedly was using a fortified cranberry juice.

He was contacted by email. Pierre Haddad wrote: “Note, however, that our study found no benefit of regular cranberry juice on weight loss in obese mice. It is biotransformed juice (fermented with a special proprietary process with a specific bacterium) on which We posted impressive results.”

One experiment was tested by E. Mitchell Seymour, Ph.D., of the University of Michigan, and he supposedly fed fat mice a diet filled with blueberries. He was quoted “Blueberry was disrupting belly fat!” He also said: “There have also been signs that blueberry COMPOUNDS may even turn off our genes for fat.”

An email was sent to E. Mitchell Seymour, Ph.D., asking if he had fermented the cranberry juice/diet with a special proprietary process using specific bacteria. he did not answer

The article also recommended drinking the juice with a meal. There are foods rich in antioxidants recommended to accompany the diet.

In Florida, several grocery and health food stores were visited to find straight cranberry juice. Health food stores did not have cranberry juice or cranberry supplements. They had a product that has blueberries in it as part of a weight loss product. Grocery stores carry cranberry juice from Ocean Spray and other companies. Read labels so you know what you’re getting. Ocean Spray Diet Made with real fruit juice 5 calories per serving The cranberry label reads as follows: Filtered water, cranberry juice from concentrate, grape juice from concentrate, carrot juice from concentrate, natural flavors, etc. Contains 4% fruit juice. Ocean Spray wrote how much of each juice in Diet Blueberry Juice will not be disclosed because it is proprietary. Organic cranberry juice was in grocery stores. It was $7.99 and only weighed 32 oz. The Ocean Spray was 64 ounces and much cheaper.

People should drink half their body weight in ounces of water. If you weigh 150 pounds, you should drink 75 ounces of water a day. That would be a half gallon, which is 64 ounces plus another 11 ounces. If you weigh 256 pounds, you should drink one gallon or 128 ounces of water per day. If you don’t like the taste of water, you can try drinking alkaline antioxidant ionized water. This water has a wonderful smooth flavor.

Supposedly drinking 16 oz. of cold water 30 minutes before a meal will help you lose weight. Water will help you feel fuller. It will also prolong your feeling of fullness after a meal. Cold water supposedly speeds up your metabolism. Cold water from the refrigerator makes your body work to heat the water to body temperature. This burns calories and speeds up your metabolism. Half a gallon of water weighs about 5 pounds per gallon would be 10 pounds. That gives you more weight without calories to burn more calories. Water will help you remove toxins from your body. Some of these toxins are associated with aging and cause you to have that tired feeling.
