Blasted Lands is an area in World of Warcraft that many players may never need to enter, except to access the Outlands for the first time when they reach level 58-60. With that in mind, many players forget to get their Explore Blasted Lands achievement. However, as it is a relatively small area with only a few hidden spots, it takes very little time to get through it quickly.

To explore this zone efficiently, you should start by entering the only entrance to the zone: on the far north side next to the Garrison Armory (55.12). You’ll likely get credit for this, as well as Dreadmaul Hold (43.14), but make sure you go far enough west for the latter if it doesn’t appear on your screen. You will then need to get to Abyssal Guard Fortress (63.16), located to the east of the map. Make sure to watch out for hostile Alliance NPCs in this area if you’re playing Horde! Continue south from here to the Serpent Coil (64.33).
Going directly west from this point, you will come across the Rise of the Corruptor (45.29)So, the Altar of Storms (42.34)followed by Dreadmaul Post (48.43). Most likely you already have the Dark Portal (58.54) credit, so the last point you should visit is the Tainted Scar (38.59)located far to the southwest of the area.
A quick tour of the area will only take 10-15 minutes and will give you the easy-to-acquire “explore the Blasted Lands” achievement! If you don’t have this WoW achievement yet, you should really put in the effort to get it ASAP!
