These types of cranes are similar to the bridge crane only with the difference that they run on a track on the floor or ground level, not on an elevated track. The gantry bridge is supported by a pair of strong steel legs that are carried by a pair of end caps along the floor track. These cranes are accessible both indoors and outdoors in spans up to 150 feet and capacities up to 10 tons.

But before buying a gantry, one should review its needs and utilization because if you invested in gantries to see the money and then realize that you need much bigger cranes like the jib crane, all your work will be wasted.
