Enchanting is clearly one of the best professions for making gold. Everybody needs enchantments. When a player receives a new item, the first thing they do is buy an enchantment (often from the auction house) to put it on. You’ll maximize your earnings on Wednesdays because that’s when the arenas and raids reset, so people will get a lot of new items on Wednesday night, so always make sure you have your enchantments on the auction house during this time.
Enchantment: This is really easy, if you don’t have an alt enchanter then create one now. Once you’re done, it’s time to start making scrolls.
Because Enchant mats are different on each server, I cannot guarantee that they will all work equally well for you.
Check the price of Infinite Dust/Greater Cosmic Essence and Abyssal Crystals on your server before doing any of these.
These are my best sellers:
Enchanted Chest Scroll – Powerful stats. Sells for ~250 gold
you need x4 Dream Shards = 20g (5g ea) x4 Abyssal Crystal = 108g (27g ea) = 128 gold total to make. 250-128=122g pure benefit
Enchantment Scroll Weapon – Berserking. Sells for ~522 gold
Requires x12 Infinite Dust = 18g (1.5gc/u) x4 Greater Cosmic Essence = 64g (16gc/u) x4 Dream Shard = 20g (5gc/u) x10 Nether Crystal = 270g (27gc /u) = 372 gold in total to make. 522-372=150g pure benefit
Weapon Enchant Scroll – Might Spellpower. Sold for ~350g
You need Infinite Dust x30 = 45g (1.5 gc/u) Dream Shard x6 = 30g (5 gc/u) Nether Crystal x6 = 162 (27 gc/u) = 237 total to make. 350-237= 133g of pure benefit.
Scroll of Enchant Weapon – Crusader sells for ~237g
You need Large Brilliant Shard x4 = 18g (4.5 gc/u) Fair Orb x2 = 90 g (45 gc/u) = 108 g total to make. 237-108=129g pure benefit.
Scroll of Enchant Chest – Super Stats. Sold for ~70g
You need Infinite Dust x4 = 6 (1.5 gc/u) Minor Cosmic Essence x2 = 12 g (6 gc/u) = 18 g total to make. 70-18=52g pure benefit.
These were just my best sellers, you’ll profit from just about every scroll you can make, so make sure you have an ample supply stocked.
Have at least 5 of these at all times and make sure you have the cheapest one in AH at peak times (when people raid/many online).
I don’t recommend selling it in trade, this way you will only earn 5-10 gold, while selling one in AH gives you 100-200 gold.
Search the auction house for 74+ green weapons, they disenchant into major cosmic essence either 1 or 2 each time, if the weapon is in the AH for less than a major cosmic essence cost buy it and disenchant it, this works with lots of other items in the AH, like 43-50 weapons that give you a higher lesser essence or 50+ that give you a higher eternal essence.
