As you read this book, you will have to suspend the disbelief you feel when faced with my claims that for at least 5000 years man has been in close contact all over the world. If you have read my other books, you will know that I have made the case better than any and that there are many good scholars who agree with me.

I think there is a great possibility that it was well understood 15,000 years ago by the Andean astronomers who were Kelt and later became Chachapoyas and leaders of the Incas at a time when much of the actual knowledge had diminished. High above the clouds, they could see the snake-like formation of the Milky Way without the glass lenses that they obtained from the slow lava flows and that have been found at La Venta in Mexico and in present-day Ecuador by archaeologists. Quetzalcoatl, Kukulcan, Viracocha, Xolotl and others are the ‘travelers’ that I think I have proven to be Druids through many sources in other books. The two nodes of the moon, Rahu and Ketu, are called the head and tail of the Dragon. So the snake can represent the duality of human nature, which is nothing more than a copy of the duality in the cosmos. A dual geometry can be based on the left and right helical curves. There is the serpent of spirit and the serpent of matter, the heavenly wisdom above and the earthly wisdom below, of which Paul speaks so often “(1).
There are many books that Adrian Gilbert, Robert Bauval, Robert Schoch, and others have written that show the correspondences between Egyptian and Mayan prophecy. I regard a lot of this as a mere streamlining of the Armageddon-type story, promoting fear and ‘miss’. They inevitably bring alien influences into the game and often see it go from Egypt to the Sarmoung Brotherhood instead of having a previous land-based culture in places as archeology now shows. I have documented these things in books beginning with Diverse Druids. As a result, the chances of my work getting a real editor are slim. Archaeologists don’t integrate all of the discoveries around the world and the US media refuse to report finds like Yonaguni or tell us why the Kennewick Man site was destroyed. I know 60 Minutes asked that one point question, but I have yet to find an answer as to who did this or allowed it to happen the day before the Congressional bills went into effect.
The correspondences of the Mayan calendar with Egypt are real in some way and I do not dismiss the information provided. However, I look to science to explain these things instead of accepting the easy answer that fits a paradigm that has fed us excrement about Elohim or other extraterrestrial influences for the last five thousand years.
