As molten paraffin:

1. In a metallic container to melt the wax, put the reinforcement in a reinforcement of 2 x 2 cm per kilo of wax. Set the thermometer to measure the temperature to maintain between 60° to 80° C. If it reaches this maximum temperature without melting, simmer until it does. Once melted, keep on low heat.

2. Paraffin gel does not require reinforcement. Melt over high heat, the same way as above. It should be chilled for 5-10 minutes, depending on the amount, before using. If it is used hot it is not transparent, but cloudy.

3. Always keep your primary container of virgin paraffin. After use, let cool. Then you can use it melts again.

Preparation of the mold:

4. With a brush soaked in oil, grease the bottom and the inside walls of your mold. Then pass an absorbent paper towel to remove the excess.

What to do with leftovers:

5. If you have leftover colored or flavored wax, use your other containers for storage. To use later, melt over low heat.

6. By combining your shadows you will achieve beautiful and unexpected shades for your next navigation.

Wick placement:

7. To place the candle there are several ways. A stick is used especially when the wick is secured and held in the mold which is filled with paraffin.

8. Another is to use metal-based wicks, which sit in the bottom of the pan. You must stop the stick held over the mold before pouring the wax, to keep it straight.

9. One more is to let the wax cool a little and insert the wick with the help of a knitting needle or a wooden stick to the bottom of the mold.

10. Another, very practical, is to use a candle or candle in the center of the mold, place it around the fittings and add the melted paraffin until the mold is filled.
