Have you ever had the opportunity to attend a retirement party? They are parties that are organized for people who are at least 60 years old. With their work days over, all they think about is how they can play golf or maybe get an apartment on the beach.
I may not be a big golf fan and I already live on the beach, but there’s nothing like getting lost in the action for a while. He had recently embarked on a seven-month trip to Europe for that reason alone.
Most people will probably call my trip an extended vacation, but instead I see it as a mini-retirement. I got the most satisfaction out of my visit to Europe, which is different from what most tourists do because they don’t take the time to enjoy their stay. Vacations differ from mini-retirements in that while vacations are short, they are very long. It is any trip between one month and six months, although in my case I spent up to seven months. During my mini-retreat, I had the opportunity to participate in many European activities.

Planning your first mini-retirement, know your goals, and it is very essential. That was how I got away with it. I never rushed the process. I decided that Europe was a place to go and spend some time. As such, I had to work very hard to make my dream come true. I had to be 100% sure my online business was working as expected, along with enough savings to help me pay any unexpected bills.
With today’s tough economic climate, it’s a challenge trying to plan one. But nothing good comes easy. So I think now is a good time to start planning in this direction.

My reason for changing my corporate life to be on the Internet is because I want to live it to the fullest. Being your boss is all you want in life. I intend to take another mini-retirement if I have the cash. And a Croatian/Greek island trip or road trip in the US will be perfect. I have a feeling that I can make this happen anyway since my first plan was a complete success. Therefore, I am ready to work hard now so that I can make it happen.
