Parent Marathon!

Parenting is an absolute marathon! When we are running a marathon, what is one thing we should never do? So is! We should never try to run all the way, right? It’s crazy to think that we would be able to run it all. We have to control ourselves in a marathon. And since parenting is like a marathon, it only makes sense for us parents to keep up with our endless parenting responsibilities and the energy expenditures of raising our children.

Do you want to know something great that our marathon for parents has about a real-life runner’s marathon? We parents use different parenting muscles as we go through our marathon, so we don’t wear ourselves out as much as true marathon runners. Real marathon runners can’t use a lot of different muscles. Sure, they vary a bit, but it’s still the same repetitive punches to his knees. Over time, this repetitive pounding causes the performance of true marathon runners to decline.

However, when it comes to the parent marathon, our experience is different. Of course, we still have great distances to cover and hills to climb, as well as slippery slopes. And all parents will agree that being a parent is exhausting. It’s full of ups and downs with periods of great flat racing and monotony between all the thrills, or should I say madness. However, unlike true marathon runners who fade with age as their muscles wear down, many of our aging muscles tend to improve with age. With a lot of experience equivalent to use, we can see how our hard work makes our children become wonderful people on their own.

Now, as my grandfather always said, “Go learn, lead, and pave the way to a better world for all of us. Stop trying to run at full speed. And stop worrying so much about the little things. Remember, parenting kids it’s a marathon so chill out and enjoy it because at some point it’s going to get really good and once again parents thank you in advance for all you do and all you will do…
