Solution to the parking puzzle

THE DILEMMA

The biggest problem of living in residential areas, apartments, commercial offices, shops, commercial buildings is parking lots. There is no greater frustration than coming home from a long day and finding your parking spot taken by someone else’s car. At that moment, the only thing one wants is to slit someone’s throat because we accept it; How long can someone keep writing notes and let the owner find out and not park in their spot? If there was some sort of guarantee that writing notes or doing something similar would secure a parking space next time, life would be so much simpler, right!

THE SOLUTION

Every problem has a solution if you know how and where to look. For parking related problems, the only solution that everyone would settle for is to completely restrict your designated parking space. “No one should dare to park in my space” is everyone’s thought process. The solution to this problem has been solved by technology through something as simple as a lock: a lock that completely prohibits others from occupying your parking space and leaves you cursing and full of rage. These locks (known as parking locks) have the simplest job: ensuring that while they are activated, no other lock can occupy the parking space in which the owner placed and activated the lock. These padlocks can be activated in a variety of ways: using the standard lock and key system, or can be automatically controlled via Bluetooth, infrared, Wi-Fi or the Internet.

THE JOB

The operation of parking locks is quite simple. Locks that are activated manually work differently than those that work automatically.

  • Manual locks work in a way that the owner has to put up a barrier that is activated once their lock has been successfully unlocked (via a designated key). This barrier can be placed in the parking spot on a solid cemented surface to prevent someone from taking over your spot. Many would be thinking at this point that you could probably just lift the entire structure up, move it somewhere else, and take up the space. goal no. The entire setup is fixed in place in such a way that no one can pry it off and move it somewhere else. Also, its positioning is done in such a way that it does not leave enough space for a vehicle to deflect it in any way. Once the owner returns, he can simply unlock the lock, lower the barrier, and park in their bays with ease.

  • Automatic locks are quite easy to use. They work similar to a garage clicker. With the push of a button on the remote control, an inverted U-shaped spell projection rises from the sides to a height that cannot allow any vehicle to pass over it. Auto locks are mostly controlled by Bluetooth, but that doesn’t matter. They all work the same.
