When it comes to spending your money, subliminal audio tops the list. Do not misunderstand. Visual subliminal messages (video, movies, and computer programs) have been shown to work. Although, I’m not sure how effective. Subliminal audio, on the other hand, has been shown time and time again to be totally useless. If you’ve had any luck with subliminal audio, it’s nothing more than a placebo effect. Bottom line: don’t waste your money on subliminal audio products.
For example, in a study conducted by the University of California, Santa Cruz-237 volunteers listened to 3 different sets of frontline subliminal esteem audios over a 30-day period. The conclusion of the study was that the audios had absolutely no effect on the subjects, whatsoever.
Also, Mike Brescia of Think Right Now did substantial research on subliminal audio and came to the same conclusion: it’s just a waste of time and money. Although he has found numerous reasons why subliminals don’t work, he states 3 main reasons for their ineffectiveness. According to Brescia:

Your ears do not hear any words. You heard that right, racing fans. It is impossible to be influenced by words that you cannot hear that are “hidden” under the music or the waves of the sea. I have spent years testing the hearing of people from the age of elementary school to over 100 and I can say with 100% certainty that when there is background (and especially loud foreground) noise, no matter what the noise is, it is difficult. language comprehension.
Reason #2 Why Subliminal Tapes Are Rubbish:
Poorly worded statements. Over the years, I have called various companies that sell subliminal tapes and asked for the alleged scripts that were “recorded and embedded under the music.” Only a few companies would reveal their scripts to buyers. Even if a person could hear words under music or ocean waves (and we can’t), they would be using extremely sophisticated playback equipment with the music delivered directly to their ears, not from speakers located 2, 10, or 20 feet or further away. Sound is vibration. And the sound vibrations get smaller as you get further away from the sound source. So, in the case of the subliminal tapes/CDs, if you could hear words under the music/sounds of the ocean (and you can’t), you’d have to have headphones on.
I hope this sheds some light on this confusing topic. There are more reasons and much more to say on the subject, but here are three very solid reasons… good reasons why you should never consider buying any kind of subliminal audio tape or CD.
