Weight Loss Without Diet – Hypnotherapy Gastric Band Hypnosis

You really can lose weight without endless yo-yo dieting and if you are clinically obese – BMI over 30 – there is hope with a virtual gastric band placed under hypnosis – yes Hypnotherapy may be the best option for weight loss.

I have been running two successful weight loss programs together and have therefore had a great deal of experience helping many people with their weight problems – both programs have at their core the same philosophies. Most dieters crave things they shouldn’t eat or after dieting and losing weight they go back to their old habits. Some of their diets can exclude certain foods, leaving an unbalanced diet that puts a strain on the liver and kidneys, potentially quite dangerous.

I think it’s important to get people in touch with the joy of eating good food and to persuade them of the cost effectiveness of eating less high-quality food instead of cheaper, fatty, saturated in sugar and salt foods – really good nutrition. offers better value for money. Value terms and you wouldn’t put paraffin wax in your gas tank after all, would you? To take that metaphor further than comfort eaters, you wouldn’t put fuel in the car if the oil light came on, would you? However, the oil light is a warning that something is wrong and putting chocolate in your mouth does not solve the problems. Eating comfortably does not solve anything but causes obesity.

Many of these issues are associated with anxiety, stress, a lack of self-confidence, or past habits rooted in poor nutritional practices as a child—”you should clean your plate,” for example. I say better pounds in the bin than pounds at the waist!

These issues can be addressed with hypnotherapy, providing strategies to deal with anxiety, stress, and lack of confidence, and using techniques such as regression to treat psychological issues that may have led to an abusive relationship with food. A 21 Stone woman came to me and once we had addressed her bullying issues and given her nutritional advice, she began to lose weight rapidly, something she had never been able to do!

In addition, the American Health Authority now blames much of obesity on junk food, which could also be called “junkie” food. Food has added fat, sugar and salt, and the taste buds literally get addicted to these things, if you’ve ever seen “Supersize me” you know how dangerous that can be, especially if the balance of eating is skewed towards food. Scrap.

Another important weapon is the food diary: write down everything you eat, but also when and why you eat certain foods.

If obesity reaches the level of a BMI over 30, then for some the choice is stark: they will have terrible health problems if they don’t lose weight; they will have tried all the diets and pills and failed because they have not addressed all the underlying problems of overeating. Sometimes they are left with the only option of a Lap Band – the operation can cost between £3,000 – £7,000 – in some cases the operation can be dangerous – I recently had a client who had multiple strokes, two of them serious – for her the risks are too high.

The combination of good nutritional advice with learning to enjoy food properly and dealing with underlying psychological issues can lead to permanent weight loss. Also, placing the virtual gastric band under hypnosis, using something like the HypnoGastricBand system, makes weight loss much more likely. The system works for most people and clients have reported that they can not only see and experience the operation without pain, but can also feel it when it is placed. The discomfort passes quickly and people find that they start eating smaller portions and like my other weight loss clients, they eat less, exercise more and start enjoying food again.

The gastric band operation is explained under hypnosis and, as it is a minimally invasive surgery, it is relatively simple: a band is tied around the upper part of the stomach; the band can be tightened or loosened and the golf ball-sized part of the stomach can be made with the band means the hypothalamus, the governor of appetite, tells you that you are full; food happens normally. The hypnotic gastric band placed under hypnosis acts in the same way as a real gastric band. If you have a BMI less than 30, there are also weight loss programs that do the same thing but skip gastric banding.

So consider hypnotherapy if you’ve tried the rest and failed. My experience is that for most people it is a realistic alternative.
