Downloading with the PSP

Tip 1 – Just find a website that you can trust. If you search the Internet for PSP sites, you’ll soon find ads for free PSP downloads, including games, music, and movies. If you believe their claims, and click on one of the banner ads or popups, you will almost always be taken to a page where you will find some very old PSP games to download for free. If you click the download button, you’ll find that the download is terribly slow, the servers probably won’t let you download anyway, or you might be downloading viruses. Whatever you do, don’t put your computer at risk by using these dangerous and rogue sites. It may just cost you.

Hint 2: Just don’t believe any outrageous claims. If a site makes promises that seem too good to be true, take it for a lie. In addition to the rogue and illegal sites mentioned above, you will also find many sites that are just scams. At first they seem like the answer to a PSP user’s prayers, but as soon as you try to download them, the truth will emerge. Despite their claims to offer “free” PSP game downloads, as soon as you hit the button, they ask for your credit card details! And typically, this won’t just be for a one-time fee, but a monthly membership charge. These sites should be avoided.

Tip 3 – Be prepared to spend money on a good service – there are some PSP download sites that can get you what you need and save you a lot of money. You will need to pay a fee to use these sites, which is the justifiable cost of maintaining the site. The fee you have to pay is only charged once, and that’s why you get unlimited downloads. The fee is usually only $30 or $40. What you pay allows the site to make sure they always have the latest downloads and maintain high download speeds. For the price of one game at a retail store, you get unlimited access to all new games.
