Putting the FUN back to the basics

Are you struggling with your sales career? What if you could get excited again and use that excitement to give yourself a shot at the wallet? Well, whatever sales industry you represent, you can do it. Do you remember when you got your first sales job or accepted a new opportunity and you felt excitement and anticipation? Whether it represented freedom, independence, or a “sky’s the limit” attitude, it had an energizing feeling, didn’t it?

Did that feeling help you succeed, stay motivated, or persevere? I bet he did.

We all get excited about an idea or opportunity and say: “Yes, I can do this!” And then over time, usually after some stumbling and fumbling and maybe some initial failure, we lose some or even all of our enthusiasm. That can be fatal, if you allow it to be.

How about you act like you have to impress the boss, yourself, or even your friends and family right now! Put your pride on the line and get excited.
