Simple and affordable alternative health care for the whole family

Here’s a story to illustrate how modern medicine often works. A man had some weeds in his lawn. They called a gardener to remove them. He arrived with a bazooka, some grenades and a machine gun and proceeded to annihilate the lawn. After finishing the job, the owner was very upset. “What have you done with my lawn? All I wanted was to pull some weeds.” The response was, “Well, I got rid of them, didn’t I?” Our health care systems often do something like this: expensive and difficult fixes instead of relatively non-intrusive, simple and inexpensive bodily aids.

Until “modern” medicine appeared less than 150 years ago, people mainly took care of themselves from a health care standpoint. They relied on natural products and approaches to illnesses and ailments. The idea was to help the body to help itself instead of introducing chemicals and products that are highly invasive and in many cases further weaken the body. The ancient wisdom and remedies were passed down to the next generations. We have lost much of that ancient wisdom and it is under constant attack from the “modern” medical world. We are told to use the gardener’s “kill at any cost” approach instead of something milder, simpler, and less expensive.

Our relatives go to a modern medicine doctor only if absolutely necessary and as a last resort. We learn about our problems and try to fix them ourselves first. This knowledge about how our bodies work can be used in future situations. I think I know my body pretty well by now and I’m pretty sure I’ll stay pretty healthy for years to come. To be honest, I wonder if modern medicine often causes more harm than it should and no one says or does anything about it.

Our family depends on a few simple things to stay in control of our health. I want to pass on what we’ve used for years. We have also saved a lot of money and lost very little downtime thanks to them.

I do not offer medical claims or scientific proof for these easy and inexpensive self-care methods that work for us personally:

colds
Instead of buying medicines and syrups that contain questionable chemicals, we gargle with strong salt water or diluted food-grade hydrogen peroxide to kill cold germs in the throat and seems to prevent them from spreading. At the first signs of a cold, we also use a hot water bottle on our chest and throat while we sleep. Heat easily kills germs in the body and less energy is used to produce a fever due to the external heat source. Simple, natural and economical.

body toxins
A white coating on the tongue can be a good indicator of toxins. Scrapes and mouthwashes to cover up the smell are not the solution! Tongues should be pink and uncoated. Check your diet. The color of the urine also indicates the level of toxins, the lighter the better. Drink more water to dilute and flush out toxins. As you detox, two things will be evidence of a successful detox: clearer urine and a fresh, pink tongue.

Dehydration
Many people are dehydrated and don’t even know it. Headaches can often be warning signs that there is not enough water in the system. Frizzy skin under the cuticles, dry, lifeless hair, and dry, flaky skin on the body are also indicators. Don’t just drink a whole glass of water at once several times a day, sip continuously throughout the day.

Lack of iron
I didn’t believe it until I saw it with my own eyes when we tried it with our daughter. She rubbed a gold ring on one cheek. An obvious black streak indicates that there is an iron deficiency. We tried the same with other family members. It was only noticeable in her.

Lack of energy
Lack of energy is often caused by a poor diet. Many people think that they need more sleep because they are always tired. Sleeping is not the solution because it is time for repair, not revitalization. If the body does not have the tools and raw materials to repair it, it will still be tired when you wake up. Energy comes from nutritious food. Review your diet if you have low energy. Unprocessed foods are the best. Cook over low heat to maintain the necessary vitamins and minerals. Eat more raw fruits and vegetables. Learn relaxation techniques to improve the depth of sleep.

Proactive disease prevention
Dentists will tell you that many physical ailments start with germs and bacteria making their way into the gum lines. Brush your teeth and floss regularly. Many diseases develop as a result of stress that compromises the immune system. Learn formal relaxation techniques. Also exercise regularly to aerate your body and keep your pipes free of “sludge”.

Various Affordable and safe self-care
a) exercise, flex and tighten the muscles of the face every day to reduce sagging skin. Save money spent on facial creams.
b) eye exercises help keep stronger glasses and strong eyes away. look them up on the internet
c) get rid of warts by rubbing them with crushed garlic juice
d) rub your hands over any stainless steel to remove the garlic smell
e) for athlete’s foot, soak your feet in a strong, hot solution of common salt and water every day until it is gone

Taking care of your own health care is not easy. It takes time, observation, analysis, and talking to people who know. In the long run, you will come to know yourself much better, appreciate yourself more, and feel more in control of your life. In addition, your body will be healthier and it will thank you by working correctly because you have helped it to help itself.
