This is an authentic Texas-style beanless chili recipe that includes carne asada and classic chili spices. For a stronger flavor, simmer for up to 4 hours.

3 pounds boneless roast beef, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tablespoons of olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

3 tablespoons chili powder

2 teaspoons ground cumin

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon dried oregano

2 (14 oz.) cans beef broth, divided

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Add the beef cubes and sauté for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and add garlic.
