Planning a trip to London

I’ve been to London many times but still feel like I haven’t seen it all. It has a beauty of its own that always mesmerizes me.

London has four airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and London City Airport. Heathrow is the largest airport and one of the busiest in the world. The easiest way to get to central London from Heathrow is the tube (underground train service). You can buy your ticket from the self-service ticket vending machine, which is very simple and easy to use, or you can buy it over the counter. The tube is the most important public transport in London and approximately 1 million people make their journey by tube every day and it is the most comfortable and fastest way to travel in London.

As one of the most popular tourist destinations, London offers a wide selection of hotels, luxury accommodation, hostels, guesthouses and service apartments for all budgets. London is a very expensive city, so if you are a traveler on a budget, book hostels as they are cheap and neat, and if you plan to stay in London for a few months, look for shared accommodation. They usually cost between 135 and 150 per week, depending on the type of accommodation and the location. I suggest you look for accommodation on the outskirts of London, as the cost of accommodation in central London is very high.
